Customised Map for TATA Motors’ MARC PUBLICATION
It all began with a map and a bold vision. In the late 90s, TATA Motors, through Marc Publications, asked Indian Map Service to craft a heritage map of Mumbai. Hand-drawn and meticulously detailed, this project became a landmark moment, steering IMS into the world of custom mapping long before it was a trend. That single map laid the foundation for partnerships with icons like Air India and SpiceJet, and paved the way for IMS to become a go-to name in classrooms and boardrooms alike.
Hand-Drawn Map for “NAMASKAAR” Magazine
In 2000, the Indian Map Service created a beautifully hand-drawn Indian map for Air India's in-flight magazine, Namaskaar. Designed to showcase the cultural richness and geographic diversity of India, the map featured iconic landmarks, traditional motifs, and natural wonders. This artistic collaboration offered travelers a unique visual journey across the country and highlighted the Indian Map Service’s expertise in blending cartography with creative storytelling.
